The Bridgewater Municipal Alliance envisions 

Municipal Alliance Mission:

The mission of the Alliance is to change lives by empowering communities to combat substance abuse and its related problems at home, school, and work with proven, practical resources, prevention education, and advocacy.

In carrying out its mission the Alliance shall:

1. Organize and coordinate efforts with the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District, clergy, law enforcement, the Bridgewater Township Department of Recreation, the judicial system, business groups and other community service organizations for the purpose of reducing alcoholism and drug abuse.

2. In cooperation with the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District: provide comprehensive and effective Alcohol, Tobacco and Drug prevention education programs for students and parents.

3. Assess needs and availability of services and facilities, and identify intervention, treatment, and referral services currently available.

4. Provide preventive educational programs for the community at large, including but not limited to: senior citizens, adult population, community service groups.

Meeting Information

Meetings are held at 9:30am on the first Wednesday of each month
in conference room 102 A & B of the Municipal Building, 100 Commons Way.
